Episode #5 – Vivien Luk, Executive Director of Team Tassy

Vivien Luk joined Team Tassy in 2012 as its founding Executive Director to steer its start-up phase and to build Team Tassy’s model to end poverty through dignified jobs. She focuses the team to define and measure impact while providing the organization with a sustainable path for growth. In 2015, she co-created the Run Across Haiti and recently completed their third Run.
Prior to joining Team Tassy, Vivien spent seven years with The Forbes Funds, a private foundation whose grant making and programming are dedicated to building the capacity of community and economic development organizations
Vivien has dedicated her career to working alongside underserved communities by examining and implementing solutions that involve public/private sector partnerships. In 2008, she was recognized as one of Pittsburgh Magazine’s “40 Under 40.” She received a Bachelors of Philosophy from UCLA and a Masters of Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University where she received the Barbara Jenkins Service Award.
