  • Steve Cartwright – Steve is currently Chief of Staff for Program and External Affairs at Teach For America (TFA).  His team promotes strategic alignment between the organization’s national programmatic areas, including:  recruitment and admissions, teacher development, alumni affairs, data strategy, development, public policy and marketing and communications.  Before joining TFA, Steve was the Chief Implementation Officer at Tembo, where he focused on maximizing the company’s impact on the way education agencies use data and analytics to measure and drive improvements in student achievement and school quality.  Before Tembo, Steve managed the analytics portfolios of StudentsFirst and DC Public Schools, where he was a Cohort 1 Fellow with the Strategic Data Project.  He graduated from Notre Dame in 2007.
  • Daniel Horgan – Daniel is the CEO of the D.G. Horgan Group and founder of the Community Impact Academy. He has 18 years of experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, corporate social responsibility and youth development. He has worked with Fortune 100 and 500 companies, national and local nonprofit organizations, school districts and foundations. Daniel is the author of Tell Me I Can’t…and I Will and his work has been featured in Forbes, Huffington Post, and dozens of local media outlets across the country.
